November 8, voters will be asked to renew the Measure LL Library Special Tax.
South Pasadena voters have renewed Measure LL four times since 1994.
Let’s renew it one last time this November.
Without this funding, the Library will make significant cuts to staffing, library hours, and services.
Preserving the Library budget costs each property owner about the same as one meal out.
See the FAQs for more details.
The Library Enriches the Community
Measure LL provides nearly 20% of the Library budget and can only be used by the South Pasadena Public Library.
During the pandemic, the Library and its staff continued to meet and exceed our community’s expectations. The Library returned to normal hours of operation on April 4th.
The Library offers in-person and online services and programs for all ages. More than 54% of monthly circulation takes place on kids’ library cards.
Love Our Library by Voting Yes on Measure LL
Measure LL asks voters to extend the Library Special Tax at its current rate with the existing CPI. This time, if approved, Measure LL will remain in effect unless voters in the future act to end it.
